La comediante Amy Schumer será la anfitriona de la noche. Los premios se conocen como Golden Popcorn.

Entre los galardones especiales que se otorgarán, esta el Premio de Generación, a Robert Downey Jr., por su destacadatrayectoria en la industria del cine y la televisión.

En la ceremonia se podrá disfrutar de las presentaciones de Fall Out Boy, que mostrará algo de su sexto álbum “American Beauty/American Psycho”; Charli XCX, junto a Tinashe y Ty Dolla $ign, quienes interpretarán el tema “Drop that Kitty”; el rapero Fetty Wap traerá su éxito “Trap Queen”.

La noche de premios comenzará a las 20 horas, 19 de Guatemala. Previamente se realizará el tradicional desfile de las estrellas en la alfombra roja.
